Spectacular Sugared Cranberries Recipe

It's holiday in a snack treat! These Sugared Cranberries sparkle with Christmas cheer and are so easy to make.

Servings 1 cup of cranberries
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 cup fresh cranberries
- Plus: 1/4 cup white sugar for rolling the outside
In a stock pot, combine 1/2 cup of sugar and 1/2 cup of water to medium heat, stirring occasionally.
Once the sugar is completely melted (around 5 minutes) add the cranberries, cover the pot with a lid, and remove from the heat.
Allow the cranberries to steep in the syrup for 10 full minutes.
Then strain the syrup and place the cranberries on parchment paper. Allow the cranberries to rest for at least 1 full hour.
Add 1/4 cup of white sugar to a ramekin or a small bowl. Roll the cranberries through the sugar until they are completely coated.
Serve the cranberries immediately. Or to use them again later, roll them in fresh sugar right before you are ready to serve them.
Store the in the fridge in an airtight container and use within a few days.
