At Pop Shop America, we host craft classes, cooking classes and diy workshops. We office an array of different workshop options that are perfect for team building activities. The goal is to have fun with your colleagues and learn to make something new.

These are the most popular offerings for teams and groups that we’ve seen here at Pop Shop America!
1. Terrariums Building with Succulents
This is our most popular workshop because it’s part gardening and part self care. it’s perfect for office desks and make great gifts too. Succulents and cacti are easy to care for and lovely to keep. You can make lots of differently styled terrariums with colored rocks, colored moss, and cool add ons like fairy garden miniatures, seashells, or gemstones.
2. Make Your Own Chocolate Bars

The best workshops are ones that you can snack your way through. With a make your own Chocolate Bars Workshop you can learn how to temper chocolate – which is making chocolate that has that glossy look and firm snap to it when you break off a piece. It’s the cornerstone to all things chocolate and with this hands on workshop, learning how to do it is easier than you think. Plus chocolate bars are the perfect vessel for dried berries, nuts, sea salt, caramel and so many things we love.
3. Candle Pouring with All Natural Essential Oils

Candle making is our 2nd most popular workshop because the results are impossible to resist. Candles are beginner friendly to make and the whole process them smells amazing. That makes this workshop particularly fun. We offer candle making with wood wicks too as a different twist on this popular activity.
4. Bullet Journaling and Creative Calendars

Bullet Journaling is part practical and part fun which makes this activity perfect for the office. You could engage in this activity entirely virtually. For example, we offer a version of this workshop that uses Google Calendar and Digital Tools. But we have another version in which team members receive their own journal, writing pens, brush letter pen sets, annotation tabs, and so much more.
Because this workshop could be done entirely virtually or with a kit, there’s even more versatility to it.
5. Make Your Own Tea Blends

If your office has a coffee culture or likes to drink tea in the afternoon, this would be a perfect activity for you! You could include an array of different tea bases like black tea, green tea, and oolong and then include lots of herbal flavorings like rose, ginger, peppermint, and cornflowers. Our tea blending workshop includes a wide variety of supplies. Recipes can follow tradition or get completely creative.
6. Wreath Making

Wreath making is an accessible way for your group to get creative because every one is familiar with door wreaths. We offer this class with fresh supplies like eucalyptus and dried orange slices and we offer a seasonal version of this workshop that can be tailor made for spring, summer, fall, winter, or any holiday. The seasonal version uses faux flowers but both are completely creative. With this workshop, no 2 wreaths will look alike.
7. Watercolor for Beginners

No art experience required! Watercolor painting is more beginner friendly than acrylic painting and will have your team feeling like professionals in no time! With watercolor painting, everyone works on paper, so it’s easier to store than an acrylic painting and you will have so many extra supplies to paint again and again.
8. Vision Board Making

I love Vision Board Making for company team building workshops because it’s the perfect way to goal set and share that inspiration with your colleagues. We get scheduled for this workshop quite about around New Year’s and I bet you can guess why!
Vision Boards and something that you can do self guided without us as a host, and we host this as both a virtual only workshop and a workshop with a kit. But what makes our kit special is the quality of the supplies – if you make a gorgeous Vision Board, it will inspire you to look at it more and think about your goals more.
9. Cookie Decorating

With some simple know how you can learn lots of techniques to make gorgeous decorated cookies. Our cookie kits are seasonal. We offer Halloween cookie decorating, spring cookie decorating, Christmas cookies and so much more. If you are hosting this on your own, make sure to get lots of sprinkles and candy add ons! That will make this workshop extra snackable.
10. Glass Etching
Glass etching can be customized in so many different ways, so all of your colleagues can make their own designs. Best of all, you can glass etch pint glasses – which are perfect for everyday use. But you can also use martini glasses or champagne flutes too. If it’s glass, the sky is the limit!
11. Beginners Adult Coloring

I love this workshop because it’s of the most affordable we offer. Adult coloring is relaxing and great for self care. You can learn so many techniques that include shading and creating the illusion of neon, or night time scenery. And you can learn cool tips for working with colored pencils, brush pens, or even crayons.
12. Floral Design

Floral design may sound basic, but everyone loves flowers and you can learn so much in this hands on workshop. When we teach this locally, we even include local wildflowers which elevate any bouquet.
You can learn about placement, how to keep flowers fresher longer, how to make your own flower food and so much more.
13. Wood Burning: Coasters

You can make so many unique wood burned projects. We host this as a coaster making and an ornament making class. Both are beginner friendly and smell amazing as you start to burn the wood.
Wood burning is especially gender neutral and is a crowd pleaser for both guys and gals.

Chocolate Tasting

Is 13 even enough workshops to spotlight? A Chocolate Tasting Workshop is all fun and no stress. Learn about different types of chocolates their origins and taste truffles with ingredients like chai spice, raspberries, and caramel. This is perfect for an after hours or wine filled event.
Essential Oil Blending

This feels just as decedent as a chocolate tasting workshop but is all about relaxation and self care. Smell your way through 10 different essential oils while learning about top notes, middle notes and base notes. Then make your own home misting spray and roller ball perfume blend.
Slime Making

This may sound silly, but this workshop is a whole lot of fun! Slime making is relaxing and fun and is a great de-stress and craft a fidget tool that you can keep at your desk. Plus knowing how to make slime is sure to impress the kids in your life.
Fermenting for Beginners: Pickle Making

Fermented foods and healthy and super trendy. You can make fermented foods with an array of vegetables but we’ll get started with carrots because they are shelf stable and delicious. In this workshop you will learn everything you need to start fermenting at home. It’s easier than you think!
